Physician Assistant History Society

OVERVIEW

The Physician Assistant History Society (PAHx) is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the physician assistant profession through research, education, and storytelling. Their existing site was outdated, disorganized, and not reflective of their professional stature. The client needed a full redesign that would modernize the experience while maintaining accessibility for researchers and medical professionals.

MY APPROACH

I led a complete visual and structural overhaul focused on accessibility, organization, and historical preservation. The redesign featured a refined layout, interactive research collection sections, and custom iconography to guide users through a large library of archival materials. I collaborated with a project manager and lead developer throughout the year-long process to ensure precision and scalability.

RESULTS

  • Delivered a modern, user-friendly site with improved structure for historical archives.
  • Increased visitor engagement through interactive resource collections and visual storytelling.
  • Elevated the Society's professional image while ensuring full ADA compliance.
