OVERVIEW
Salt & Pixel Studio is a restaurant-focused web design and digital solutions company I built from the ground up. The website serves as both the company’s primary marketing platform and the foundation for a larger ecosystem of restaurant tools, including managed menus, online ordering, POS integrations, client services, demos, and restaurant management software.
I was responsible for the full digital experience, including strategy, branding, UX/UI design, WordPress development, custom functionality, content architecture, SEO, and ongoing product development.
MY APPROACH
I designed the site around the way restaurant owners actually evaluate digital services. Rather than building a traditional agency portfolio, I created a service-driven experience that explains specific restaurant problems, demonstrates solutions, and gives visitors multiple paths to explore services, pricing, demos, resources, and free website assessments.
The site was developed as a custom WordPress experience with reusable templates, responsive Bootstrap-based layouts, custom plugins, localized SEO pages, restaurant demo environments, and integrations with platforms such as Square. I also built supporting systems including a dedicated client portal and custom restaurant tools that extend well beyond the public-facing website.
RESULTS
The finished project became more than a marketing website. It developed into the digital foundation for the entire Salt & Pixel Studio business.
The platform now supports service sales, restaurant demos, client management, live menu functionality, online ordering, POS synchronization, SEO content, lead generation, and an expanding suite of restaurant-management tools. Building Salt & Pixel Studio also allowed me to combine front-end development, WordPress engineering, UX strategy, branding, SEO, product design, and business strategy into a single real-world project that continues to evolve.
